The Kinvara’s morphed considerably over the years since the release of the original 1, from a flexible fit to a stiffer, more supportive shoe for longer training runs and races. In this, its tenth iteration, Saucony hearkens back to the Kinvara’s roots, with a comfortable shoe, suitable for both training and racing and noticeably less constraint in the upper.
The 10 features Saucony’s EVERUN Topsole with ample, flexible material that hugs the foot comfortably. The midsole contains Saucony’s proprietary high-abrasion EVA+ foam, helping to make the 10 a relatively lightweight shoe versus other brands that use a heavier rubber material.
The FORMFIT material in the footbed molds seamlessly to the contours of your forefoot, providing both a cushy foot strike and stable take off.
The Kinvara comes in men’s sizes 7–15 and women’s in 5–12. Colours for men include Orange/Black, Blue/Black and Gunmetal Shade. Women’s come in Navy/Mint, Rose and Aqua Shade.
All told, if you’re in the market for a neutral shoe, you’d be hard pressed to find another model that stacks up to the Kinvara 10 in terms of performance, comfort and price point.
